Astrid Lindgrens Children’s Hospital is one of the leading hospitals in Sweden, doing amazing work to help sick children get better. When we learned of one of their techniques – Play Therapy – we were intrigued. It’s a free zone where medical treatments aren’t allowed. Here kids can escape their every-day, play and do crafts to process hurtful experiences and learn about their treatment.
Unfortunately, one of the rooms, Verkstaden, lacked in both functionality and inspiration. As big believers in creativity and play ourselves, we wanted to help.
We put our creative talent and expertise to use to do something good – because all kids should have the freedom to play!
